Talk:Muammar Gaddafi

  • Discussion
Return to "Muammar Gaddafi" page.

This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Muammar Gaddafi page.

ImagesEdit

There's no need to put any image which is completely off topic and doesn't match with the quotes. —This unsigned comment is by Justicejayant (talkcontribs) 12:45, 3 May 2012‎.

Would you care to be a little more specific about what you are recommending? ~ Ningauble (talk) 13:46, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Justicejayant's referring to the picture of the anti-Gaddafi protest in Dublin, which I've restored. It's not off-topic, and in keeping with our NPOV policy. --Tryst (talk) 06:43, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
When you restore images, please just restore them and don't delete sourced quotes without comment. Thanks.--Collingwood (talk) 12:15, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, I had no intention of doing that. I presumably was editing an older revision of the page. --Tryst (talk) 16:22, 4 May 2012 (UTC)
Image doesn't fit with the criteria, this is not your anti-gaddafi protest page, it's more about what person has spoke and who has spoke about the person.
Just added a better picture, and obviously related to topic. --Justicejayant (talk)

UnsourcedEdit

These should be provided with sources before being moved back into the article.
  • They said Gaddafi went to Honolulu. Ha ha. It's funny. It's funny. I have my grandpa's graves, the martyrs and I have my people. Is that possible? My people who have sacrificed for me, his people ready to die for me and I'm ready to die for my people. I am ready to be the first one in all battles
    • This was cited as being an Address to the nation (25 February 2011), but I find no mention of this anywhere on the internet, and have removed it as a dubious statement without a definite citation. ~ Kalki·· 11:48, 4 May 2013 (UTC)
