I can't find Ueshiba's quotes in their original Japanese. English-Japanese translation is doable, but that's Japanese-English-Japanese.
What would be nice would be each quote in its original Japanese form; a Hiragana/Katakana transliteration; and English. --199.173.225.33 16:26, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Better still to also include dates and citations for the original Japanese quote.
- It's not just that the quotes lack context and could have been misheard, and the subject's views evolved over their life, but also that the translator's interpretation can be subjective. Are these quotes literal, or paraphrasings, etc? Cesiumfrog (talk) 04:28, 10 May 2020 (UTC)
