Robert Frost edit

I don't know if this matters, but this quote:

"Home is where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in." (The Vor Game, 1990)

is a reference to this line from Robert Frost's "Death of a Hired Man" --

"Home is the place where, when you have to go there, They have to take you in."

I have now added some notation below the quote referring to Frost's statements. ~ Kalki 12:14, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced edit

  • "Write what you know" is a tautology. You have no choice — you have to write what you know, and in order to write something new, you have to learn something new.

This is also similar to a couple other statements she is known to have made, but there has been no source found for this, and the link above to what is declared a similar statement seems to be dead. ~ Kalki 08:49, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I removed the following unsourced quotes from the main page to this talk page:

  • So I pray the gods may hear even me, and let my whispered yes tower above my shouted no and mount all the way to their fivefold realm. As I would be heard, so I hear you.

Story Chronology edit

I just completed a cleanup and some addition to this page, but in keeping with the way the Vorkosigan Saga is presented in its Wikipedia article, I listed the books of that work in order of the story chronology, rather than publication chronology. ~ Kalki 12:14, 2 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I moved Ethan of Athos to a place right after Cetaganda, in accordance with clear indications in the text, as well as the author's commentary here and here. Markjoseph125 (talk) 21:27, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
