Leonidas I did not say the quote "Good, then we'll have our battle in the shade," in response to the scouts statement, Dienekes did. The full quote is as follows:
It is said that on the eve of battle, he was told by a native of Trachis that the Persian archers were so numerous that, when they fired their volleys the mass of arrows blocked out the sun. Dienekes, however, quite undaunted by this prospect, remarked with a laugh,
"Good. Then we'll have our battle in the shade."

Is the "This is Sparta!" quote really historical? I'm pretty sure it was just made up for 300, so it should probably be deleted from this page, awesome though it is. 97.81.248.226 17:05, 18 September 2007 (UTC)

Taking out the following two quotes:
* Madness? This is Sparta! * Ready your breakfast and eat hearty. For tonight we dine in hell!
Although who ever put it did say it was taken out of the film, these two quotes should be put on the appropriate session: Quotes from the film. Not on the part about the historical character.
