Information boxes edit
Information boxes look good, and provide a good summary of facts, which is a plus, but they can be confusing and discouraging to new users when they attempt to edit a page. Though I like their appearance, after thinking upon the matter a bit, I think they should not be used here, so that people can add quotations with greater ease, and less intimidating confrontation with html code. I think pictures should be avoided, because currently they need to be uploaded in addition to any that exist at Wikipedia, and I think such redundancy is wasteful of Wikimedia server space. I would rather wait until such a time as Wikimedia-wide image links are available before adding any pictures to articles here. ~ Achilles 06:33, 17 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Sourcing quotes edit
I've created a new "Unsourced" section and moved most of the former "Sourced" quotes there because they don't adequately specific a source that may be checked by editors. Magazines should include exact dates and article titles. Speeches must include a reliable source for the text. (Wikisource is not a reliable source by Mediawiki standards, for the same reason Wikipedia isn't — in short, anyone can edit it, and there is no editorial board to back up its claims with a professional reputation.)
Source lines should also be explicit about their sources. Bare links and URLs should be converted into proper source statements, including the author, title, article name/chapter/etc., date, ISBN (for books), and other info. (See {{cite book}}, {{cite news}}, {{cite web}}, and {{cite journal}} for some of the information that can be added. These templates can be used to standardize the citations' appearance.) The goal is to make it relatively easy for Wikiquotians to verify the quote. Asking them to read an entire book or magazine issue to find a quote is not reasonable. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 19:04, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
Last quote under listing: "Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn't cover it quite as much. People wouldn't know what's going on. On terrorism — Press Availability in Dhaka, Bangladesh (29 August 2016)." Source is broken, I question the context.
