Animal rights is the idea that the interests of animals should have the same consideration as those of human beings. Animal rights agree that animals should no longer be regarded as property, or used as food, clothing, research subjects, or entertainment. They should be viewed as inferior brother or legal persons and members of the moral community. The fact that Chimpanzee has 99% common genes with human is a major argument for animal rights.
