Does anyone know if the "ragamuffin" quote below is from Jacob Bronowski?
"It is important that students bring a certain ragamuffin, barefoot irreverence to their studies; they are not to worship what is known, but to question it."
It's generally attributed to an apparently nonexistent person called Jacob Chanowski. There's a discussion that goes into more detail here: http://forums.techguy.org/civilized-debate/709837-eggys-articles-note-2-a-329.html
