I think it would be far more appropriate to put herdt in a category for anthropologists or cultural psychologists, frankly, sexology, I think reflects his subject matter, tangentially, at the very least. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tychoish (talk • contribs) 02:26, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
- The problem was that the article creator did not specify a category, nor did they include an introduction to allow other editors to easily identify this person, and the current set of quotes appeared to fit the category best. I've remedied the identification and added Category:Anthropologists. You can help Wikiquote by adding sourced quotes that show Herdt's broader range of work. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 10:23, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
