Talk:Fawlty Towers

Latest comment: 15 years ago by MFlet1 in topic Bloopers

please correct typos or don't bother submitting. I have already changed "sow" to "sew" in "communication problems". What would "sow them back on first" mean?

I changed some spellings - such as "add" to "ad" (short for advertisement). Also "spiffy" to "spiffing".

Also the bit in The Builders where Manuel is talking to the O'Reilly builders, Manuel says something along the lines of "You are orally men?", in which the men reply "you tryna be funny?". When I next watch that episode, I will copy the correct quote over to here.

Category edit

Fawlty Towers should not be in Category:Cancelled shows. It was not cancelled; it was only ever supposed to have twelve episodes. British TV shows are generally commissioned in much shorter runs than in the US, and Fawlty Towers had two series of six episodes each. Fys. “Ta fys aym”. 18:31, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think you misunderstood the intent of the category. It is for shows that no longer have new episodes being produced. It isn't just for shows were cut short, though I do understand the confusion. Perhaps the category could be renamed? Koweja 20:10, 25 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bloopers edit

I don't think bloopers can be classed as quotes from the series. I'm going to remove this section. MFlet1 11:25, 31 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
