River quote? edit

I saw this on an online petition. Tried a quick Google search but nothing came up except references to the petition. Misattribution?

Language quote edit

There is a quote often attributed to Tutu, "Language is very powerful, language does not just describe reality, language creates the reality it describes."

It seems this is really something he said, based on Bill Moyers' pages on PBS. But is this source reliable enough? 194.157.225.93 14:20, 7 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Reconciliation is a long process. We don't have the kind of race clashes that we thought would happen. What we have is xenophobia, and it's very distressing. But maybe you ought to be lenient with us. We've been free for just 12 years.
