Armenian Quotes edit

Those are not independently sourced quotes. They are all from a magazine which is advocating for the 1915 events. I think they should be removed. My action IS NOT a vandalism. Please take it into account.

Second, the quote about new born baby is a historical fact which is included the memories of the cabinet members who were present in the cabinet meeting. Therefore DO NOT DELETE it.

Thanks.

It is vandalism because you are not allowed to remove sourced quotes. Quotations from magazines and newspapers are allowed, as well as books. All citations are provided. Everything is sourced on the page. For references stated, you may not remove anything, page blanking is considered vandalism. Please refrain yourself from that. - Zarbon 13:55, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Also, if you are able to provide a documented source for "we have a new born baby" then it can stay on the page. However, after extensive searching, I can see no source for that quotation, neither in books, magazines, nor newspaper columns. It doesn't appear to be factual and/or you are misinterpreting it or spelling it out incorrectly. - Zarbon 14:08, 25 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

First Quote edit

The First Quote is a fake, Enver Pasha never said that, the source is a book, that it self should have a scientifically valid source, but it lacks that. There is no documentation in any form that Enver Pasha would have ever said something like this, in this form. If you look at his other quotes, he just simply doesn’t use this language. Furthermore, there is a big mistake in the quote, ‘Lebanese’ he would have never referred to citizens of the Ottoman Empire as Lebanese, they would either be Arabs, Armenians or Christians, but he wouldn’t use the word ‘Lebanese’.

One way or the other, the quote is a fake and should therefore be removed from the page. Grgurel (talk) 02:29, 2 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
