'Bolding' sentences edit

Is 'bolding' in the text really necessary? I personally prefer all quotes to be 'normal' font. Please let me know you opinion on this. Wiki-uk 16:37, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

It is never necessary, and probably not all that significantly helpful on an article that is as yet this short (3 quotes), but I believe that such an additional layer of user ability to denote quotes and passages they consider most notable and significant can be very helpful, especially on longer pages, or in longer passages, where some of the most famous or notable statements of individuals might otherwise be skipped entirely by the casual observer, and I have widely used it and promoted it's use by others, especially on many of the larger pages I have worked on. It is especially helpful where very famous quotations might otherwise be overlooked in larger bodies of text that provide them fuller context. ~ Kalki 22:44, 6 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
