Nathan: Haley?

Nathan and Haley start kissing:

Nathan: I could love you forever, Haley.

Nathan: Your my family now Haley. The only true thing I have. I don't ever want to lose you.

Haley: You won't . (look at each other lovingly) What?

Nathan: Marry Me.

Haley: Stop it.

Haley: Because we're in High School

Lucas: Isn't it 'Five Minutes in the Closet'?

Brooke: Yeah, if you're in junior high. But the great part about this is; you know how everybody has their elevator list?

Brooke: Your elevator list! Come on! The list of people you're allowed to have sex with if you're ever stuck in an elevator with them.

Sometimes, people disappoint you. Sometimes they surprise you. But you never really get to know them…until you listen for what’s in their hearts and that’s what Haley did with Nathan. Haley: I don't know if it was so much about trusting Nathan, which I do, it was more about trusting myself.

Something I'm definitely not... and yet, she's my friend. She never cared what clique I was part of, the kinds of clothes I wore or... the fact that I have to ride the bus... She looked past that stuff. And when you think about it, isn't that what we want in our president; someone who can see past the superficial differences and bring us together? This year, Brooke's had her share of ups and downs... just like all of us. But most of you never saw it, 'cuz even when life got hard, Brooke never let it in. She was just...Brooke; tough, smart, one of a kind... And I don't know about you but those are things that I look for in a leader. Brooke Davis is my friend. But that's not why I'm voting for her. I'm voting for her because of her heart... and her spirit... and because she's the best person for the job.

Peyton: Jake. Thank you.

Jake: You know I could've held you in my arms forever? It still wouldn't have been long enough.

Brooke: George Bernard Shaw once wrote: There are two tragedies in life. One is to lose your heart`s desire. The other is to gain it. Clearly, Shaw had his heart broken once or twice.

Mouth: So Mr.Shaw thinks that getting your heart`s desire is a tragedy? I say he`s wrong. I mean, clearly Shaw never kissed Erica Marsh.

Nathan: As far as I concerned, Shaw was a punk. 'Cause you know what? Tragedies happen. What are you gonna do, give up? Quit? No, I realize now that when your heart breaks, you got to fight like hell to make sure you're still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That's life. The confusion and fear? That's there to remind you, that somewhere out there is something better, and that something is worth fighting for.

Haley: This year I got everything I wanted and everything I wished for. But in a way, I lost even more.

Lucas: Shaw was right. As we strain to grasp the things we desire, we strain to grasp the things we think will make our lives better: money, popularity, fame...we ignore what truly matters ... the simple things... like friendship, family, love. The things we probably already had.

Peyton: Yes, losing your heart`s desire is tragic. But gaining your heart`s desire? That`s all you can hope for. This year I wished for love...to immerse myself in someone else and to wake a heart long afraid to feel. My wish was granted. And if having that is tragic, then give me that tragedy. Because I wouldn`t give it back for the world.

Lucas: Tennessee Williams once wrote: We all live in a house of fire. No fire department to call. No way out. Just the upstairs window to look out of while the fire burns down the house...with us trapped, locked in it.

Brooke: [walks in on Nathan and Peyton involved in a tickle-fight] Well, well. First Lucas, then Jake and now Nathan... I guess "slutty" is in season.

Peyton: And why is Bitch being a Brooke?

Brooke: Because! I'm leaving tomorrow for the summer, possibly forever, and my best friend is off giving interviews and having psuedo-innocent foreplay with kind-of married guys.

Brooke: LUCAS! Do not make me join you!

Lucas: Uh, a little privacy here.

Brooke: No, you've been in the shower forever! By the time I even get in the water it's gonna be...[Checks water] cold! Are you taking a cold shower?!

Lucas: No, the hot water-

Brooke: Gross! You are! You know what? Next wet dream, tell Peyton I said 'Hi'. Ew!

Brooke: [Talking to herself] Well... I'll see you Brooke, have a nice summer. Oh thanks everybody...

Lucas: Talking to yourself?

Brooke: What is your summer job driving a cab?

Lucas: I put your stuff in the car.

Brooke: So I guess this is goodbye...

[Lucus hugs Brooke and then kisses her]

Brooke: Tell me that was a goodbye kiss...

Lucas: I wanna be with you Brooke.

Brooke: What?

Lucas: I'm sorry. I know we're friends. It's just how I feel.

Brooke: What about Peyton's stuff?

Lucas: I keep that stuff as a reminder of how badly I screwed up things... with you. To remind myself that if I ever got a second chance... I'd never let you go again.

Brooke: I don't know what to say. I um... I gotta go...

Lucas: Brooke! Do you think you could ever-

Brooke: Lucas... I'm sorry. I gotta go... Bye.

Lucas: Have a nice summer Brooke.
