Mohammed Hanif
Pakistani journalist
Mohammed Hanif (born November 1964) is a Pakistani novelist, writer and journalist. He graduated from the Pakistan Air Force Academy as a pilot officer but left to pursue a career in journalism. He has worked for Newsline, The Washington Post and India Today. In 1996, he moved to London to work for the BBC, eventually becoming the head of the BBC's Urdu service in London. He moved back to Pakistan in 2008.
