Jim Gibbons

28th Governor of Nevada

James Arthur "Jim" Gibbons (born December 16, 1944) is an American attorney, aviator, geologist, hydrologist and politician. He served as the 28th Governor of the U.S. state of Nevada from 2007 to 2011. He is a former member of the United States House of Representatives, having served from 1997 to 2006. He is a member of the Republican Party.
