Göran Persson

Hans Göran Persson (born 20 January 1949) is a Swedish Social Democratic politician. He was the Prime Minister of Sweden from March 1996 to October 2006 and the leader of the Social Democratic Party from March 1996 to March 2007. The current Prime Minister of Sweden is Fredrik Reinfeldt, leader of the liberal conservative Moderate Party.
